Music Teacher Bio For Nina Isidora
A Brief Biography of Nina Isidora, B.A., M.A., Artist Diploma, Member of MTNA, NFMC, FSMTA, MS-MTA.
Nina Isidora is a Steinway Artist with a teaching experience of 30+ years. This includes 15 years teaching at USF, (University of South Florida, 1988-2003).
Her students vary in age, (5-85) and levels, (primary to very advanced). The approach is highly individual, based on the Alexander Technic as a pianistic approach, (London Origin).
Nina prepares her students successfully for recitals, (several time a year, on stage), for auditions, & competitions.
Frequently she is requested to be a judge at all levels of competition.
Nina's Recitals at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, USF, Eckerd College, etc., are known by the titles: "Contrasts in Styles", "The Romantic Piano", and "The Sonata in Three Styles".
She often brags about her own great teachers, such as: S. Pelisheck, (Bulgaria), H. Michelson, (Juilliard School), Ilona Vincze, (Hungary), A. Schroeder, (Berlin), and J. Abram, (Tampa).
In May 11, of 1991, Nina was one of the 12 semi-finalists selected out of 97 nationwide, for the Beethoven Sonata Competition held in Memphis State University. She was the only finalist selected from Florida.
Nina's Professional-Twin-Grand Piano Studio is located in North Tampa, (Land O Lakes) attracting students from different areas, such as: Cheval, Tampa Palms, New Tampa, Odessa, Carrollwood, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Dade City, Brandon, Apollo Beach, etc.
